This year marks the 57th Anniversary of Merillon Athletic Association. We would never have been able to reach this milestone without the dedication, hard work, help and support of our Merillon Families over the years. We have had players and their families go through our system and then the players as adults had their own children play for us. This is fantastic when you think about our humble beginnings. We now can boast that approximately 16,000 children have played for Merillon Athletic Association since 1953. In addition at one point in time we only offered a Spring season at Merillon. We now provide Summer and Fall programs and host both a Summer Clinic and a Winter Clinic providing professional instructions to those in attendance. We also host a softball Challengers Division and once again this year the Challenger Division will host a Fall Tournament at Merillon.
All of these milestones and growth are attributed to the volunteers that have given of themselves over the years to help in every aspect of our League. This year with close to 700 children in our system we are calling on you to Volunteer your time and efforts. We are looking for Volunteers to help wherever and whenever possible. Remember it takes many people working together to make the season a success. So help us to continue to provide the youth of our community with an great environment for Baseball and Softball.
