I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players, coaches and parents for yet another great year at Merillon Athletic Association. I hope to see you all again next spring 2008.

As you probably already know the Town no longer permits parking along Marcus Avenue. They will issue tickets for parking violations. In addition to the parking violations I am sure you will agree that it isn’t the safest of streets to exit your vehicle on anyway. Also, since our Field House parking lot is limited in size, many people have been parking along the curb outside of the Field House and in the designated Handicapped Parking spots. We respectfully request that you not use these spaces. Also, please do not double or triple park or leave your car in the middle of the lot even for a minute. Please remember that if ever the need arose this area would be the entrance and exit for emergency vehicles and should be kept clear of illegally parked vehicles.

We have once again obtained permission to utilize the parking lot of "We’re Associates", adjacent to Merillon Field #2 off Dakota Drive, located to the west of the Merillon Complex. There are more than enough spaces there for guests and parents of Merillon players. However please use the following guidelines and some common sense when using these spots.

• Remember that people who work for "We’re" have preference over us.
• Please do not litter, pickup after yourself and your children.
• Please do not park in the entrance or exit lanes of Dakota Drive, use only the designated parking spaces.

If we violate these rules our privileges will be revoked and we will not be able to utilize these facilities.

We have also received numerous complains from our neighbors to the east of the Merillon Complex. "Westy Storage" parking facilities and other shops and store owners. Merillon does not have any agreement for us to utilize their parking lots. Please do not park there.

If you are illegally parked there you may be towed away or ticketed.

We are sure that in the long run you will agree that using the larger parking facility off Dakota Drive, adjacent to Merillon Field #2 is the safest and most convenient way to go. Please don’t abuse it.
